I have been preparing for upsc civil service exam .and I also suffering from ocd from last 5 years. Taking fluoxetine (80 mg) and risperidone (0.5 mg) .will they give me job if still I am still on medication during selection. Please answer only if one have knowledge of medical process in upsc.

Yes, they will give you a job under category where in your ocd does not affect your job functioning. You will have to produce a medical certificate regarding the same. They might refer you to a medical board of a govt. Hospital for it. Good luck.

Dear lybrate-user, both fluoxetine and risperidone will not show up in drug screening. Drug screening is done for other addicting drugs. These 2 are not addicting drugs. They are essential drugs. All the best for upsc selection. Continue preparing.
