I'm 35 years male. For the first time in my married life, after 10 years, I met my ex gf and she touched me in car and gave unprotected oral sex. I asked to stop in between and came home. That time I was so low in my life still repent the mistake and is worried about hiv. I consulted a doctor, got hiv provera dna test after 3 days not detected. My ex gf tested for hiv duo and non reactive. From then I never talked to her again. After 3 month 15 days I tested through western blot and it is negative. I didn't have sex with my wife for those 3 months. My doctor said it's conclusive. I got a bit relieved and had protected sex with wife as we are not planning for a kid. But, from a few days i'm still getting anxiety and worried as some info on internet shows 6 months as window period. I lost my interest in life and is worried about my wife now. She shd'nt be a victim for the mistake I did. Please let me know your opinion if I shd go for a test at 6 months.
