I am diabetic since 1999 and I was using human mixtard 30/70 insulin since 2009 with doses 15 units and 12 units mornings and night. Presently doctor changed to wosulin 30/70 with same doses, but I found my sugar level is very very low. Is it high potency if so what dose I have to take.

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. All the brands of 30/70 insulins are invariably having same potency. The level of action is dependent on the units used in every dose. All the insulins marketed by standard pharmaceutical companies have action. If the combination is 30/70 it means 30% fast acting & 70 % long acting insulin combination. There are 40 units per ml as well as 100 units per ml vials are available. That needs to be kept in mind while using the injection. Otherwise there us no difference.
