If possible all family member should follow cardiac diet. Foods that increase cholesterol should b avoided like non veg (mutton) you can eat fish (reduces cholesterol) take all green vegetables. Daal rice. You can take all fruits if not dm. Very important is cooking oil as it increase cholesterol so use always two types of oil in a day ex- morning rice bran oil and evening sun flower oil.
