Hi, I am 13 weeks pregnant and so far things appear normal in pregnancy but yesterday, I saw blood in urine, so much that the urine appeared completely red. I noticed that there is no vaginal bleeding at all and blood is only in urine. I got my usg done for fetal well being and urine r/m and culture done. Usg reports are normal but urine r/m says rbc: 50/hpf, pus cells: 4-5/hpf, bacteria cocci: 2895/hpf and mucus: 90/hpf. I consulted my gynaecologist but she said she will start treatment only after the report for culture is available. Till yesterday, I had no pain, but today I am having pain in lower abdomen and thighs. I am worried if I should wait till then. I am not happy with feedback from my gain as she has suggested nothing other than wait till culture reports. Tomorrow I will not get any doctor as it is sunday, please guide how this infection can effect my baby. Also, what other test I could get done for detecting hematuria. Thanks.
