Cholestasis is a condition where the flow of bile in the body decreases. Duct tumors, cysts or stones in the liver, pancreatic tumor, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis may result in this condition. It can also be due to a side effect of certain medications. Pain in the right upper part of abdomen, itching, nausea, change in the color of urine and stools, vomiting and skin or eyes turning yellow are the visible signs of Cholestasis. The cause of the disease determines the treatment.
