Can cognitive decline caused by untreated chronic hypertension be reversed? If so, what specialist shall be checked with, neurologist or a psychiatrist? I'm 21 years old, have hypertension since 3 years now that I didn't get any treatment for and it is about the same time since I have noticed a sharp decline in my cognitive functions.
