3 4 months back I diagnosed with diabetes that time my hba1c was 12 I took medicine metformin 500 and glimepiride 1 mg bt continue outside food still my blood sugar after tea biscuit is 314 doctor increased my dose from metformin 500 to 850 suggest me some test for better understanding of my case.

I need to know : fasting, PP glucose levels, current HbA1c%, dietary details, extent of daily exercise, lipid profile and BP & age. So my suggestion is please come back with above information preferably in a private conversation so that I will be able to give specific advise and also recommend medications if needed. In this communication we are supposed to give only general advise, Ideally in a well controlled patient fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg and HbA1c% < 6.5 % .Thanks.
