It's for my daughter, she is 8.5 years old. She keeps forgetting her studies. What she learns a week back, the following week she forgets. But what she sees on television all that dialogues everything she remembers. She is born and brought up by me alone. She does think about her father, she is lost at times in tution, i've got this feedback from her tuition teacher. I need a good medicine that I couldn't give her, kind of a memory booster, or to gain interest in studies .i'm too much worried about her studies.

Dear lybrate-user it is common for children to forget what they are not interested in. If she can remember what she ses in television, she does not have a poor memory. It is important you invest in making learning a little more interesting for her. Different children learn in different ways. Some need visual stimulation ,some audio and some text. Its important to find your childs learning preference. Unfortunately the teacher can only teach in one way so you might have to put in some extra effort to make the subjects interesting for your child. Many videos and turorials can be shown where she will remember the key concepts and build on that when she reads. Take care take care.
