Lumbar Disc Disease also known as Lumbar Spondylosis, is a collection of degenerative disorders that intensifies with old age and causes low back pain. This condition features three processes on the whole- internal disc disruption, degenerative disc disease and segmental instability. The lower back becomes more inclined to injuries with age, as the intervertebral disc that acts as the spine’s shock absorber tends to lose some water. The symptoms of this condition include low back pain when sitting and bending. With progress in degeneration, the pain becomes worse and spreads to the buttocks and thighs too. This pain usually persists for more than 6 weeks.
HOW IS LUMBAR DISC DIAGNOSED?
