lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query. Lonazep is drug given to reduce anxiety related disorders plus also used in epilepsy. There is no mention of it causing hiccups in the literature. It may be a unique problem with your father. Hence if problem persists please ask the consulting doctor to change that drug. I hope his diabetes is in good control, because that is quite important as uncontrolled diabetes can increase his anxiety symptoms. Thanks.
