I have diabetes taking glycomet 500 sr once fasting is 93 and post meals 126 and I was taking olmy 20 mg and reading was 96/69 doc told to stop the medicine for sometime and after 5 days I checked it was 110/77 and when I am not taking this bp medicine I feel very uneasiness and discomfort very uncomfortable pls suggest.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. I have seen the details mentioned. Your blood glucose levels are excellent. Please check hba1c%, that is quite necessary. What is the age? Since when was the diabetes diagnosed? What were the fasting & pp glucose readings as well as hba1c% at that time? These are important to know before any advise can be given. As regards the bp readings, at present without any medication are quite good, so please do not take the medication for some more time, may be a week to 10 days and then check the readings.
