I am taking diabetic tables glycomet 500, istamet 50, oxra 10 mg morning and evening glycomet and istamet after food. My question is, if I want to have alcohol drink (occasionally), what precaution I should take.

Hello, thanks for the query. In general it is better to avoid alcohol for a diabetic person. The reason is that it has no nutritional value but provides empty calories. It also blunts hypoglycemic awareness. Once a while a small quantity may be taken. Thanks.
