Sir/ma'am I had covid 2 months back. After 14 days I consulted my pulmonologist he asked me to get my crp CBC and chest xray as my coughing was not going any breathing issue there. My CBC chest x ray everything was okay and clean. Crp was 1.1 but after the coughing went. I started feeling pain on left side of chest in my muscles and rib. It doesn't pain continuously. It only pains when I move upper part of my body in a certain way or bend down or my chest moves and it goes off when I come back to a normal position. Is this serious? How can this be treated? Thanks.

Dear Lybrate user, it's quite common to have pain on the sides of chest wall after chronic cough, if your reports are clear then I don't think there is any reason to worry. The pain will go in few weeks time, in the mean while you can try hot compression, and breathing exercises.
