Are hiv antibody lab tests at 16 weeks negative conclusive. What if there were corona symptoms which is quite similar to hiv seroconversion symptoms at 20 weeks post exposure. Can still hiv be ruled out with 16 weeks negative result.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. Because p24 can appear before antibodies to hiv, antigen/antibody tests have a tighter window period than older tests for antibodies alone. In fact, the newest types of antigen/antibody tests are 99 percent conclusive within 44 days of exposure. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
