I have hyperthyroidism. I sometimes get heart flutters for a few seconds to less than a minute due to gas. Is this because of thyroid disorder? Does it mean my heart is ill? Is this very serious now?

As I told you earlier it can be because of hypothyroidism. If you want to rule out cardiac involvement then you need to consult cardiologist for a checkup. It's not possible to diagnose with one symptom only as palpitation is a symptom of many problems including hypothyroidism, anxiety etc.
