I am female 41 and am suffering for excessive hair fall, especially since my 3rd child birth (6 years back). Initially it was slow, and now I feel my hair have got alteast 50% thinner and more than 50% lighter in their numbers. They have very thin roots and hair come out even at a gentle pull. Till 6 years back, I had good hair and lot of them, never had such problem. I have tried some topical natural oils and therapies, but nothing seem to work. Due to this, I am very depressed and have become generally inactive. During my 3rd pregnancy a fibroid was detected in my uterus and I underwent cesarean delivery. The fibroid is still there though my gynae doctor says it doesn't need to be operated at the moment. Sometimes I get irregular periods. Could the fibroid be reason for my hair loss? Do I need any blood test to detect hormonal changes? What should I do to stop this hair loss permanently?
