My brother have white patches on tongue which are painless and they comes and go every time. He had biopsy but they aren't carcinogenic. He have this situation from 1 year. Kindly help me on this matter.

Kindly share picture if possible to suggest best treatment. Oral thrush is a fungal infection which occurs due to dry mouth, uncontrolled diabetes and weak immune system with debilitating disease or patient on corticosteroids. You may need fluconazole & renal safety dosage of amphotericin b (iv drugs to be used only with the advice of oral & maxillofacial surgeons). Kindly consult an oral & maxillofacial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need candid ointment until then. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical. Strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal.
