Hello. Congratulations! First, get yourself registered with some good hospital for regular check-ups and monitoring. Include daily intake of healthy, nutritious, balanced diet which includes different pulses, legumes, green vegetables, seasonal fruits, salads, cereals, nuts. Avoid eating high caloried, unhealthy junk food like fried food, oily food, rich & spicy food, beverages, cold drinks, canned food. Increase intake of milk & milk products - take 2 glasses of milk everyday. Go for a regular health walk twice - morning and night daily. Take at least 8hrs. of sleep at night and 2hrs. of sleep during daytime. Avoid taking unnecessary stress and tension. Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water to keep well hydrated. Avoid taking food from outside to avoid any infection. Avoid taking hard drinks and smoking which can affect the health of a baby! You can consult a physiotherapist who can guide you and teach you exercises pre and post pregnancy which will help you in easy delivery and managing weight after delivery. Think positive!!
