My question is simple. If I take tazloc h, I feel itching all over body. If I take cilacar 5 mg instead, I feel tired, joint pains and swelling. My bp remains normal around 120/90 after taking any one of above medicine. What is the other effective composition medicine which I can take instead? I have diabetes too. Which is in control by taking dianorm od 30 once daily. Please suggest other medicine for high bp. Thanks and regards.

Hi taking into your diabetic status in account ,bp medicines such as tazloc is better from kidney protective effect. H component of tazloc h would not be good choice as hydrochlorothiazide as some metabolic abnormalities compared to other safer diuretic prescribed for bp control. I would advice you to get you renal function test, thyroid function and urine routine examination also keep your bp record for 3 consecutive day I will be in better position to give you the right hypertensive after know the said reports and records.

Hi your bp of 120/90 is not exactly high. 120/80 or less is ideal. To start with lifestyle modifications and physical activity along with yoga or meditation will help you in resetting the body balance for hypertension. Can you tel how much is your bp without any medicines and how long you have been having hypertension.

Hi according to your controlled diabetic and hypertensive status, tazloc is better for it diastolic bp of 90 mmhg. Diuretic is causing some metabolic changes so you feel itching over body. Better to get your kft, thyroid function test, and bp recording for few days. Than I will advise you better.
