I had a skin allergy problem and skin turn red purple + swollen after applied univate this morning once. The day before I applied fusidic acid-b. Both was given by devote. Is it normal it become swollen and purplish red?

Hello hope you are keeping safe 1) I did not clearly understand for what condition you applied univate and fusidic acid-b.as, if it is for a fungal infection, steroidal based creams will lead to an aggravated growth of fungus and cause a reaction. Kindly be advised to send a photo of the lesion so as to diagnose and treat it accurately. 2) if it is for acne, there can be a exacerbation of the acne lesions. Steroidal creams work best for dermatitis/ eczema (most commonly) ,but application of it for these conditons would not cause it to aggravate but lead to healing. Kindly stop the medication and consult your dermatologist or send a photo so I could guide you properly through this. Thank you take care.
