Hello, Thanks for the query. The glucose levels mentioned are quite good, showing well controlled situation. What is the HbA1c%? If that is < 6.5% or lower then it is really very good. Glucometers are quite accurate, there is no worry in using those. Thanks.

Hi, glucometer may some variation, however it gives an indicator on high and low sugar levels. Plesae continue the tablet. Do regular walking (30 minutes) daily and have low carb diet. Update with hba1c values.

Dear lybrate-user, your glucometer readings are reasonable for home monitoring purposes and I find that your sugars are under very good control. If possible (i know the covid situation in delhi is bad) get a lab to check your hba1c and if that is < 7, you need not have any anxiety I suggest home monitoring as follows. Fasting and pp on wednesday and 2 hour after lunch and 2 hours after dinner on sunday and maintain a record. Targets for you would be fasting 80-110 and all post meal values < 140 mg/dl. Maintain your hba1c at a value < 7 % and check this once in 3 months and maintain a record
