I am 28 years old. I had too much fungal infection on my left waist area I consulted dermatologist and had taken too many medicines for that but before 4 month I did my biopsy and found I am suffering from morphea. I am right now using takfa forte lotion by applying that there are no new lesions but as I stop using this medicine again new lesions come. I am really worried as it is going to be 2 years I am facing this problem. Please help and prescribe some medicines or ointment as during this crisis I cannot go outside. Please help.

Hi! please share your pics for better analysis and treatment. Morphea, also known as localized scleroderma, is a disorder characterized by excessive collagen deposition leading to thickening of the dermis, subcutaneous tissues, or both. Superficial circumscribed morphea is a self-limited condition that tends to slowly involute with time; the duration of disease activity of each individual lesion averages 3-5 years; however, patients tend to develop new lesions over their lifetimes. Proper follow up is very necessary .mean while, use tacrolimus lotion at night .do consult your dermatologist for follow up or do online consult.
