I am 48 years old and diagnosed for ra from lat 4 years. currently I am taking folitrax 10 mg weekly and 400 mg hcqs regularly. I am not drinking, smoking, also I am having a healthy diet. My current ra reading is 15, but from last 1 month the pain has started in following ares 1. Both hand (palm joint with little swollen 2. Both thump finger 3. Little left knee pain 4 left middle feet (upper side) I have consulted with doctor he prescribed 1. Folitrax 10 mg weekly 2. Hcqs - 400 mg 3. prednisolone (steroid) 30 mg for 7 days, 20 mg for 14 days and 10 mg for 7 days 4. Vitamin d - 50000 mu weekly 1 after 20 days of medication, the improvement is only 40%. What would be my next step.
