Hi, good evening. From the information given your mother had a urinary tract infection and was on treatment for the same. your urine test was positive? Means for what? The tab nitrofurantoin she used can cause change in urine colour. At the same time urine can be cloudy because of infection. Losing protien in urine. Or because of many other causes. I would advice, a complete urine examination, ultrasound of abdomen, and a urine culture and sensetivity to drugs test at present. Do consult privately with the reports .thank you.
