Now, considering your clinical complaints, there are two most likely conditions, namely vaginal candidiasis and trichomoniasis. Clotrimazole gel is useful for external vulval application only and does not solve the purpose of vaginal candidiasis. You need oral tablets and vaginal inserts. Also recurrent vaginal candidiasis is very notorious and keeps coming back again in case of prolonged antibiotics use, or humidity and in case of stress. Diabetes needs to be ruled out. For trichomoniasis, symptoms mainly include profuse foul smelling discharge, itching and redness in vagina and on vulva. This can also be transmitted to your partner. So it will be better to consult a gynaecologist doctor in person or online.
