I am 20 year old female. I have acne since last 5 years. My doctor suggested me to use clear gel during the day and ap gel @ night. The acne cleared but comes back once I stop applying the cream. What is the regime I should follow now. Can I continue using the creams for a longer period.

Hi lybrate-user. Use clear gel only on active pus filled lesion. Don't use it for longer periods as it can result in resistance. U can use epiduo gel at night for 30 min and wash it off. Apply very minimal amount and avoid sensitive areas like around eyes, mouth and nose. And also check for pcos if you have. Use sunscreen in the morning three hours once. Proper diet and exercises will add on benefit. If acne worsens or not responding consult nearby dermatologist or through private online consult.
