I have vitb12 deficiency .and now acidity too. R they related? Am not taking any antacid or vitamin supplement. Age 42 female.

Achlorohydria is a condition caused by antacids, where less gastric acid is produced and caused decreased absorption of b12. Few general advice if you follow your condition may improve. You should start taking vitamin b 12 injections. Increase your intake of animal origin foods, milk if you are a vegetarian. You should undergo an upper gi endoscopy to find out the cause of acidity.
