Acidity Questions

I had severe abdominal pain due to high acidity. I had taken one meftal spas but the pain is still there. Can I take one more meftal spas tablet in an hour of consuming the first one?

Helicobacter pylori infection. Stool test said iga and igg positive for helicobacter pylori. Pain in chest while swallowing food. But ecg, echo cardiograph, tmt, chest pa view normal. Liver function and kidney function test normal. No pain in abdomen, but pressure immediately after eating food. Upper gi endoscopy said antral gastritis. Esophagus and duodenum normal. Fundus and body of stomach normal, only antral gastritis. Stool culture and occult blood negative. Helicobacter pylori positive. Functional dyspepsia and post prandial distress syndrome. Taking guduchi and cinnamon twak.

Do this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. Dear lybrate-user, anxit (alprazolam) will reduce your stress immediately. So you feel better with it. So you can take it only for short term and stop it. Or, you can use it whenever necessary occasionally. Otherwise you will become dependent on it. You may not learn to manage your normal day-today stresses well. So take anxit till you learn to manage better. Pan 40 mg will reduce the acidity. Please remember that acidity is one of the symptoms of stress/anxiety.

This medicine (proton pump inhibitor (ppi).) will not cure problem. It only works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach. The day you do not take medicine normal acid production will be there n you will have symptoms. Do this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Pantoprazole can not be taken on long term dose as on long use it may weaken your bones as side effect. Therfore I would suggest you god some genral lifestyle modification and alternate medicine if for if and when needed to. I am suffering from acidity since two months, my baby is 4 months old. I feel like food is sticking to my throat and lot of mucus in my throat, I always want to clear throat. Also has burning sensation in my stomach, since two months I am burping whole day. Done my endoscopy one month back which is normal, doc prescribed sompraz for 4 weeks and antibiotics. But nothing improved. Some time I also feel shar pain in chest (food pipe not sure) when I inhale. After taking sompraz for 3 weeks I felt pain in all my joints and started feeling anxiety. Do I need to do the endoscopy again? I am also breastfeeding. Since one month I am not eating anything spicy, oily. Only home cooked food. I drink good amount of water. I do meditation .also doctor informed me I am burping because of the muscle spasms which is normal. Why my sensation in the throat not going away. I am very scared, please help me.
