My mother is 47 years old, having migraine for a couple years. After consulting to doctor, he gave some tests like sinus test, urine, fbs etc, with some medicines like amixide 10 mg (amitriptyline and chlordiazepoxide) with sibelium 10 mg. My mother has been using sibelium (not everyday but only when pain occurs to her head) 10 mg for couple of years, but it never created problem. But this amixide 10 mg is new to her so the problem is, she is feeling uneasy. Feeling drowsy, headache, body pain, dizziness. Since she is only on 10 mg medicine, she wants to leave the medicine. So is it possible to leave the medicine amixide10 mg all of a sudden coz the power is low. Or tapering down is necessary?

Tapering down is needed. Better do not stop suddenly.
