I am having sacrolitis causing pain & stiffness in lower back, si joint area for last three years now my doctor suspects the root cause of problem is due to ibd, crohn?s disease as I suffering from constipation & indigestion issues for last several years & I was operated for intestine obstruction in 2017 & acute appendicitis in 2014. I wanted to know is my joint pain problem related to ibd or previous stomach issues? Pls advice further course of action required?

if you have ibd, there are high chances that you have ibd related spondyloarthritis. you need to be on mesalamine and if needed steroids +/- azathioprine. in case you need help with the treatment, msg me your medical records on lybrate
