My father age 70 years have parkinson disease since last 5 years. He is having novastat 10 he is also taking alopathic medicines for high blood cholesterol and hypertension. Can you suggest if taking vrihad vatchintamani ras and vatari avleh will help him to cure knee pain? If yes please mention the dosage.

These medicines help but body should be toned accordingly. Say to clean the "koshth" you must take mridu virechak and edible erand sneh with DASHMOOLARISHTHA and Ashwagandharishta for some time before switching to proper Ayurved treatment. Diet discipline is also very important. Overall treatment will be Anti vata only but abrupt beginning of the costly med is likely to go waste. Pl consult
