Hi, I just want to inquire, What is your diagnosis on my son's condition. He is 7 years old, please see his symptoms below: Friday (jan. 10) - he complained of a painful throat. Jan. 11 - runny nose jan 13 - 15 - nose bleeding at night before sleeping, he complains of a clogged nose. His nose is filled with mucus (green). He also complained of his toothache at the middle of the night, he wakes up crying because of toothache. Jan. 15-16 - low fever and rashes on face, he has sores on the corner of his lips. Headache and body pains jan. 17 - his sores on the corners of his lips had dried, no more rashes. Body pains. He is taking paracetamol only since jan 15 every 6 hours. He usually feels better after taking paracetamol. We drop salinase on his nose. What is your diagnosis on this? How it will be treated.

acute maxillary sinusitis should b ruled out though for final diagnosis this maxillary xray n a picture of inside his mouth showing teeth may help a bit

His symptoms are so vague that there are n number of possibilities. He can have acute sinusitis alone or overlapped with teeth pain. Sores on corner of mouth can be due to certain deficiencies or viral / bacterial/fungal infection. Again these are possibilities only based on symptoms. You can visit an ent specialist/ pediatrician and a dental specialist to actually see the problem. It will be more beneficial for your son.

Toothache at the middle of the night may be due to decay. Sores on the corner of his lips may be due to herpis (viral infection ). Adv anti viral tablet. For cold consult a physcian.
