My father has 144 ldl and 229 total cholesterol and he doesn't have any bad habits and we use mustard oil for vegetable. How can he low the cholesterol level? Is it really dangerous? Is it increase in winter or cold environment?

It's higher than normal but not much higher,, start doing some exercise,, walking,, avoid fatty foods,, take more protein less carbohydrates and fats,, this will be corrected by time
