I have been suffering from prostrate enlargement for last 4 years. Since then I have been taking contiflo d.initially my psa was 10. 48.on consuming the above medicine my psa level decreased gradually. The reading was 3.23 in april 2019. But psa test done two days back shows the level at 7.05.it is worthwhile to mention that my mri prostrate done early in 2019 showed pirads 3.further trust guided biopsy done in january 2016 indicated negative.

The medicines which you have taken does decrease the psa values in the blood but the disease process may continue, what you need is a serial psa value estimation and if still on the higher trend then you should consider for a repeat biopsy, or a less invasive psma test.

Dear sir, if you are still taking Contiflo- D and the PSA is 7.05 then we have to consider a repeat biopsy. If the medication has been stopped then we can continue observation with 3 months PSA.
