Hi there thank you for responding. I have an interactive thyroid which i've had for around 15 years. My bloods came back ok the last time regarding thyroid. I am currently waiting to be seen for an ultrasound on abdomen but it has taking a year to actually refer me. Worried it could be something serious that if not seen to could get worse?

Hello, thanks for the query. I have seen the query, however, I am unable to understand what are you trying to convey. Because there is nothing like "interactive thyroid" it is either hypoactive (hypothyroidism) or hyperactive (hyperthyroidism). Since nothing is mentioned in terms of actual thyroid test results, I am unable to understand what is the situation. Plus again there is nothing mentioned as to why an ultrasonography of abdomen is advised. Your over all query is too general. Please come back with specific details like: thyroid test reports (t3, t4 & tsh levels and if anti tpo antibodies also have been tested). If treatment is on what is the tablet and dosage? Why abdominal sonography is advised? What are the complaints? On going through those details I will be able to comment. Thanks.
