My female partner has accidentally been stabbed by a stranger's needle. She is getting tested for transmitted disease for the next few months, which will take a while. In the meantime, how do I protect myself? Are we allowed to kiss (sharing saliva) and how I a female have safe sex with this other female?

If you know stranger's status about diseases then you can avoid all problems. If can not know then it takes long time to be sure about hiv as hiv-4th generation test which tests both antibodies and p24 antigen. After 4 months of exposure if negative is reasonably reliable.
