Hi Sir, My grandmother underwent angioplasty few years back. She is currently taking ecosprin 75 mg daily. Doctor has also advised her to take splenz e plus, for immunity as she is very frail. My question is that can vitamin e be given along with blood thinners as I have read that vitamin e makes blood more thin and should be avoided in heart patients. Is it safe to take splenz e plus along with ecosprin daily?

Blood thinners prevent blood clots, which can stop blood flow to the heart. Some blood thinners thin the blood to keep blood cells from sticking together in the veins and arteries. Doctors often prescribed medications called anticoagulants to people who have been diagnosed with some forms of heart disease. complete examination is required before i suggest any medication.
