Can non sustained ventricular tachycardia be caused by stress and anxiety? I am 35 yo female, no family history of cardiac issues with a thoracic syrinx, sdad at all levels in spine with normal event monitor, stress test, multiple holter, 0 calcium score, normal echo, 66% ef, normal cardiac mri. Had a 15 beat run on nsvt and they?re trying to say it was low potassium (3.2! low normal, but still normal): i?ve upped the potassium, but the symptoms remain, but 25 mg of metoprolol seems to keep it at bay until last night when my hr went from 70 to 117 driving home. Can stress and anxiety cause nsvt? The only results on the testing has been occasional sinus tachycardia and sinus arrhythmia.
