Hello! I am 68 years old female who has a high ferritin level (around 150). I am concerned that this such a high level of iron may impair my health. So, I wanted to ask you whether should I try to decrease iron absorption in my body by consuming caffeine-containing beverages. Or do I need to see a doctor and receive treatment?
