Hi Sir, There is an echogenic foci in the upper 1/3rd of ureter measuring size 6.5 mm and 5.0 mm in mid pole of calyx noted with posterior acoustic shadow. What does it mean and its solution please.

Echogenicity (misspelt sometimes as echogenecity) or echogeneity is the ability to bounce an echo, e.g. Return the signal in ultrasound examinations. In other words, echogenicity is higher when the surface bouncing the sound echo reflects increased sound waves.
