Hello. Some amount of bleeding or lochial discharge may be following for 3 to 4 weeks following cesarean section. However, excessive discharge or prolonged bleeding requires investigations and further management. Often retained products or infection (endometritis) may be responsible. You need to undertake following investigations. Usg lower abdomen blood for cbc, sugar and tsh meanwhile, you need a course of antibiotic, trenexamic acid, iron tablets and may be progesterone hormone. If retained products are present than you may require evacuation. Take care.
