I am 36 years aged male and have a problem of cholesterol for last 5 years. Lipid profile readings were up and down in last 5 years. Some times border line high then come down to normal after a bit care like diet, walk, exercise etc. Now since last 2 months i'm using medicine (statin) named lipirex 10 mg recommended by a doctor. Now i'm feeling very well today my lipid profile readings are ideal. Should I continue to take this medicine? For how long time should I continue to take this medicine? What are the risks of stopping this medicine? Please guide me. I do not have any other medical problem.
