My wife 62 years has been suffering from diabetic and high bp for last 15 years .she is taking telista h 40 for last 2 years one tab after lunch. For last few months her bp remains 80/170. She doesn't feel any discomfort. Her sugar level is in control. How to control the bp.

Hello, thanks for the query. Bp 170/80 mm hg is showing very high systolic bp. This should be around 130 mm hg. It is clear that taking only telmisartan 40 mg, is not sufficient. There has to be another drug added for better control of the systolic pressure. So it is better to consult her physician and get a specific prescription. There are many options available.
