Hello there, one of my friend has been diagnosed (2 months back) with high blood sugar when tested before eating in morning it is 100-110 and after eating it ranges from 160-190. His age is 33 years. So.he has no family history of diabetes. He does not show any diabetic symptoms. Could you please help me in letting know if he is diabetic or is a case of high blood sugar.

The range you have told seems to be in the pre diabetic range. Only high sugar. Do get hba1ac levels done for confirmation. And mention his height, weight, bmi.

Hi, readings which you had mentioned here are almost normal. Your readings also depends upon what food you were consuming for 2-3 days before the test were done, just wait for few days, avoid easily digestible food, raw sugar, and then get yourself examined.
