Initially it was jus my dad who used gluconorm sr 500 twice a day, later glynase mf twice a day, later glinil m twice a day, glyciphage g2. Forte and now finally glimestar m2 is the drug being used twice a day. Dad is known diabetic since 13 years and mom is diabetic since 2013. Both parents are on same medication for diabetes and ramipril 5 mg for hypertension. Their cbg values after tea intake is 167,58 years dad and mom 215, 54 year old. Moderate life style, no exercises or walking as they have osteoarthritis. They don?t check their fbs and ppbs regularly, may be twice an year. Hba1c not tested at all. What all tests required, please lists and do they need change of medication for diabetes. Thank you.
