My friend got pregnant. Pregnancy confirmed through urine test. Gave mtp kit to her. She had a little of bleeding like 3/4 drops after first dosage of misoprostol but isn't bleeding then. Why isn't she bleeding? Conducted abdominal ultrasound too after some days of giving misoprostol but no gestation sac or pregnancy found. Is she really pregnant? She had conception between the period february 7 to february 17. Also gave papaya juice, sesame seeds with honey and pineapple juice to her but isn't bleeding yet. Why is she bleeding? Any possible causes? Suggest what to do now.

Dear lybrate-user hello get a serum beta hcg test done this is the only confirmatory test of pregnancy if the test indicates pregnancy, get an ultrasound done and visit a doctor I think you have not been taking medication under the guidance of doctor these kind of problems are usually encountered when you self medicate yourself. Mtp pills should be taken with caution and there is a fixed protocol under which is drugs are taken hope that satisfies with you.
