Sir, my 1 years child got injured 10 days back and there is a blood clot in his forehead please suggest any medicine sir please also suggest can I apply thrombophob gel at dat area, can the blood clot be dissolve now becoz it, s 10 day back clot. Or any side effect of thrombophob for 1 years baby injured with blood clot please reply.

If it is closed external injury, you shouldn't worry and better leave it alone. Black colour hematoma will get absorbed automatically in due course of time. Mainly you should look for any signs of internal bleeding or injuries, for that examination by your paediatrician is necessary. Since ten days have passed without significant symptoms like vomiting, convulsions, altered sensorium, behaviour or any weakness in limbs, it is unlikely that child has any internal injury. Don't worry about outside closed hematoma. Examination by local pediatrician will be worthwhile to get rid of parental anxiety. It becomes must if child has any above referred symptoms.

You can apply thrombophob, or leave it as such. If it is very small, it will resolve spontaneously but if it is large it will need drainage. 10 days already have left and there is no synonym so internal bleeding is unlikely. So don't worry and precautions so that no further injury will have your child.
