Hi, my friend is having severe pain in neck and shoulders from last 8-9 months. Recently the pain has increased to biceps and forearms also. She works with computer more than 8 hrs. Her neck has gotten extremely stiff. There are some knots also on both sides of neck beneath ear. She had a cervical mri done just to see if it found anything. Mri results: mild posterior disc bulge at c4c5, c5c6 level leading to compression of thecal sac with no nerve root compression or spinal canal stenosis seen. Approx diameter 1.2 cm (ap) please suggest what to do? Can it be healed without surgery?
