I am a 30 years old married female. I had my first delivery on 19th February 2018. During pregnancy, while done the usual tests, I has tsh as 3.47 my gynecologist suggests me to take thyronorm 25 mg. I took it all my pregnancy time and after delivery up-to may 2018. Then I stop taking tablets. On Jan 2019 I again had my tsh test, and it's result was shocking. It's above 60. My gynecologist asked me to take thyronorm 100 mg for 30 days. Now I completed 30 days and again tested tsh. It's value is 16.35 now what is he dosage I want to follow, please suggest.

Tsh level has to be seen every 3 months and the dose is titrated accordingly. Please ask the treating doctor for dose reduction. Otherwise you can seek consultation online if you want. Actually this is not a one time prescription, so you will have to be under medical supervision. Locally or online.
